BuildNinja is the product your team works in. Its built-in AI features use the hosted kenzoAI service to process submitted build context and return explanations and findings inside the workflow.
Logs show what happened. Configurations describe how the build runs. Source changes reveal what is different. kenzoAI analyzes the relevant context and returns explanations and findings you can investigate, so the next step is easier to understand.
BuildNinja is where your team works. kenzoAI processes the context submitted by supported features. The Developer Portal manages the application that connects them.
Analyze logs, explain configurations, continue in contextual chat, and review AI Runner reports alongside the underlying evidence.
The hosted service powers supported BuildNinja AI requests. Your team reviews the response and decides what to change.

In BuildNinja, an administrator adds the credentials under Settings → AI Configurations. For a custom integration, start with the kenzoAI documentation.
Run an analysis, review the findings, and follow up with questions. Your team validates the guidance and decides what to change.
Create an application, choose its analysis depth, contain its credit use, and follow the balance shared across your account.
One application. Three quality settings. Two levels of credit control.
More context for everyday build investigations and reviews.
Two controls, two jobs. The app limit contains one integration. The account pool pays for every application. Resetting an app allowance never returns credits to the account pool.
Illustrative request values only. Actual credit use varies with the selected quality setting, input context, and response size.
Create an application in the portal, then save its credentials under Settings → AI Configurations in BuildNinja. Quality, credit limit, and reset controls stay in the portal.

kenzoAI is the hosted AI service behind BuildNinja’s AI features. It analyzes the submitted logs, configurations, code changes, and build context, then returns explanations and findings. The Developer Portal is where you manage the applications, credentials, credit limits, and usage for that service.
Build intelligence means turning build activity, logs, configurations, and code changes into context your team can act on. BuildNinja combines CI/CD visibility with AI analysis and contextual help. It does not replace build results or human review.
AI Runner analyzes the repository code changes associated with a build and produces the AI Build Analysis Report. Add it under Edit Configuration → Execution Steps and configure its credentials, quality, failure threshold, and server-error behavior.
Create an application in the kenzoAI Developer Portal. Save the App ID/API key and App Secret. An administrator enters them as App Key and App Secret under Settings → AI Configurations in BuildNinja. kenzoAI access, internet connectivity, and available credits are required. An AI Runner step has its own credential and execution settings.
It is the place to create kenzoAI applications, manage their credentials and credit limits, and inspect usage. BuildNinja uses those application credentials to connect its AI features to kenzoAI.
The kenzoAI Developer Portal is a hosted service accessed in a browser. BuildNinja runs on your infrastructure and needs network access to kenzoAI for its AI requests.
